On February 17, 2015, Ambassador Tulinabo Mushingi presided over a material gifting ceremony at Camp Lamizana, in Ouagadougou. This ceremony marks the result of 18 months of collaboration between Burkina Faso Armed Forces and the Embassy of the United States. This equipment including thirty-one armored troop transport vehicles PUMA M36 type, restoration kits, Individual defense materials, water treatment units, electrical appliances and communication, ambulances, and a level 1 care center worth 10 billion CFA. These materials are provided by the American people to the Gondaal 1 Battalion and the 31st peacekeeping squadron which both will be soon deployed in Mali as part of the operations of the United Nations stabilization Mission in Mali.
