On the occasion of Jazz à Ouaga festival that took place from April 24 to May 2, 2015 in Ouagadougou, the Embassy of the United States has strongly marked his contribution with the participation of a JAZZ group “Le Chat Lunatique”. Coming straight from New Mexico, Le chat Lunatique performed many times in various places of Ouagadougou. The band consisting of four musicians including  violinist Muni , guitarist John, drummer Fernando  and bassist Jared also played with the Burkinabe singer Dicko Fils at La place de la nation. This “one evening featuring” pleasantly surprised the audience by the quality of rhythms. U.S. Embassy and Institut Français co-hosted a cocktail followed by a concert at Institut Français  where Ambassador Mushingi gave a speech recalling the history of jazz in the United States.
