U.S. Embassy Organized a Benefit Concert to Support the Rama Foundation

On November 23, U.S. Embassy Ouagadougou hosted a benefit concert in support of the Rama Foundation  which provides corrective surgeries to women suffering from Obstetrical Fistual. In honor of Meg Riggs, the Public Affairs officer who departs post after three years of dedicated service to the American people and to the people of Burkina Faso the Public Diplomacy section of the U.S. Embassy organized a benefit concert for the Rama Foundation and raised over $14000 to provide corrective surgeries to women suffering from obstetrical fistula or uterine prolapse. The concert featured Alif Naaba, Rovane, LaSean Brown and Fabienne Thibault. Over 500 people attended the concert that is soon to be televised on RTB television.
