The U.S. Embassy is located in Ouagadougou on Avenue Sembène Ousmane, Ouaga 2000, Secteur 15 near the Ministry of Agriculture and southeast of the Memorial aux Heros Nationaux.  The Consular Section entrance is on the west side of the building.

The Embassy is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday.  Appointments for non-emergency services to U.S. citizens are available between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.  The Embassy is closed on certain local and American holidays.  Please schedule an appointment for any non-emergency services by visiting our online appointment website or calling (226) 25-49-53-00.
