The main objectives of this visit were to support sustainable economic growth, conduct a fact-finding mission on cross-border security, and assess investments in the Bagré rural zone. On the first day, the Ambassador and his delegation went in Cinkassé where they were welcomed by the administrative and traditional authorities, and WAMEU (West African Monetary and Economic Union) representatives. They visited the juxtapose post near the border in Cinkassé before meeting with border officials to learn about their work. On day two, “Bagré Pôle” welcomed the Ambassador and his delegation.
