On Friday November, 8 2013, Ambassador Tulinabo Mushingi, USAID Country Director Jim Parys and malaria specialist Kathy Webb visited a mosquito nets distribution center in the district of Boulmiougou in Ouagadougou where they officially handed over 350,000 treated mosquito nets to the people of Burkina Faso through the Ministry of Health.
During the event, Ambassador Mushingi reiterated that one of the goals of the U.S. Mission to Burkina Faso is to assist Burkina Faso in its own development efforts and that malaria prevention in Burkina Faso is a significant part thereof.
