Event: U.S. Embassy Ouagadougou advises U.S. citizens to avoid the area around the Salle de Conference near the Laico Hotel in Ouaga 2000 due to heightened police presence. More than 80 people will be on trial before a military court over the failed 2015 coup in Burkina Faso. Crowds, media, and road closings in the vicinity of the Salle de Conference can be expected.
