The Embassy of the United States in Ouagadougou is currently recruiting interns to serve six months, from July 29, 2019 to January 31, 2020. The internship Program was designed for students in Burkina Faso and aims at benefiting both the Embassy and students by providing students with valuable educational experience in foreign affairs and by assisting posts in accomplishing their goals. In the last cycle, interns contributed to Public Affairs, Budget&Finance, Facilities Maintenance, General Services, CDC as well as Political and Economic sections’ activities.
There are no benefits attached to this internship and no compensation, nor any future employment rights. This unpaid program is open to all students enrolled for the 2017-2018 or 2018-2019 academic year and provides the opportunity to work in the Embassy and to gain experience in various areas.
