On October 9, 2014, the American Library organized a conference on community service and volunteerism presented by a panel of American officers from the U.S. Embassy. The panelists talked about their own experience as volunteers; they explained how community service is valuable to Americans and how it impacts positively the country at the social and economic levels. The participants shared also their own experiences.
