In light of the terrorist attack in Ouagadougou on January 15, the U.S. Embassy in Burkina Faso invites U.S. citizens to attend a town hall meeting with Ambassador Mushingi on Thursday, January 21 at 3:30 pm at the U.S. Embassy in Ouagadougou.
Routine security screenings will apply; bring your U.S. passport for entry. Please note that non-U.S. citizen spouses and parents may attend with their U.S. citizen family member but must present identification, such as a passport or national ID card.
We encourage you to minimize items carried with you to expedite the screening process. Electronic devices, including cameras and cell phones, are prohibited. Please make every effort to arrive by 3:00 pm to ensure that everyone is present for the Ambassador’s arrival. Thank you for your cooperation.
