The Embassy of the United States in Ouagadougou has launched an Internship Program designed for students in Burkina Faso. This program intends to benefit both the Embassy and students by providing students with valuable educational experience in foreign affairs and by assisting posts in accomplishing their goals. In the last cycle, interns contributed to Public Affairs events including, conferences, speaker programs, movie show and media outreach. There are opportunities to work with all sections of the embassy. There are no benefits attached to this internship and no compensation, nor any future employment rights. The program is open to all students enrolled for the 2015-2016 academic year and provides the opportunity to work for four months in the Embassy and to gain experience in various areas.
