EVACUATION INFORMATION

During this time of global response to the corona virus, U.S. Embassy Ouagadougou continues operations and prioritizes assistance to American citizens.  With the suspension of commercial air service, Embassy Ouagadougou arranged a repatriation flight to the United States, departing Ouagadougou tonight, en route to Washington D.C. Dulles Airport.

American citizens who are scheduled to depart on this flight should have received several emails from the Embassy and should be finalizing preparations to depart.  If you are interested on being on this flight and have not reached out to the Embassy, you MUST do so before 12:00 noon today.  Given air traffic restrictions, we will not be able to accommodate any requests received after this time.
