Event:  PAYMENT ISSUES; MAY 20 FLIGHT

The Embassy heard from a significant number of people who wish to travel on this flight and have not been able to pay due to the difficulties with the credit card machine.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DEPART ON THE MAY 20 FLIGHT AND HAVE NOT PAID, PLEASE EMAIL US IMMEDIATELY AT CONSULAROUAGA@STATE.GOV; PLEASE INCLUDE A PHONE NUMBER. 

Encourage your friends and family members to register at step.state.gov so they receive Embassy updates. 

Effective April 3, 2020 The staff at U.S. Embassy Ouagadougou will be teleworking full time.  The Embassy remains open and continues to operate in Burkina Faso. 

Routine consular services remain suspended.  For emergency American Citizens Services, including emergency passports, please email consularouaga@state.gov or visit our website for additional information.
