Emergency Message for U.S. Citizens: Avoid Downtown Ouagadougou

The U.S. Embassy informs U.S. citizens that until further notice, Embassy personnel have been instructed to avoid downtown Ouagadougou. The Embassy is monitoring reports fire and gunfire in the area of Hotel Splendid and Café restaurant Cappuccino.
