• AmChams: AmChams advance the interests of American business overseas.  They are voluntary associations of American companies and individuals doing business in a particular country, as well as firms and individuals of that country who operate in the U.S.  Currently, 115 AmChams in 102 countries are affiliated with U.S. AmCham. • Burkina Faso is a member of the Economic Community of West African States, a regional grouping of 15 countries whose mission is to promote economic integration in fields including industry, transport, telecommunications, energy, agriculture, natural resources, commerce, monetary and financial questions, and social and cultural matters.
•  Burkina Faso uses the West African CFA franc and is a member of the West African Economic and Currency Union.
