Ambassador Mushingi visited the CEAS (Albert Schweitzer Ecological Center Association of Burkina Faso) honey treatment center in Koubri, a rural community near Ouagadougou on July 20th.
He was met and greeted upon his arrival by the Mayor of Koubri, religious and traditional leaders, and the CEAS staff with the representatives and partners of the honey producers.
During the hour-long visit, the Ambassador discussed with the hosts the technical, socio-economic, and environmental benefits of beekeeping. He also toured the treatment center and received an explanation on the processing of honey making.
